Education plays a vital role in the development of progress and prosperity of any society. The basic reason behind all problems and inequalities is the low literacy rate in our society. The only Solution would be possible of all these problems to educate our society. Baba Fareed Educational and Welfare Trust has initiated this mission with the collaboration of “The University of Lahore” in order to spread an awareness among people, to take them out from darkness with the beacon of education, and to provide scholarships and free books to the needy students.

Establishing the Educational Institutions:

The platform of Baba Fareed Educational and Welfare Trust laid the foundation of “The University of Lahore Pakpattan Campus” that is spreading the light of education to the people of Pakpattan and the surrounding areas. The purpose of the institution is not to educate for the sake of education but to help the students in becoming positive thinkers and productive members of the community.

Baba Fareed Students’ Welfare Board

Baba Fareed Educational and Welfare Trust provides educational scholarships to the needy and deserving students so that poverty would not be a hindrance for them in getting higher education. For that purpose, Baba Fareed Students’ Welfare Board has established to arrange scholarships for the students at Secondary and higher level of education.

Baba Fareed College of Sharia and Islamic Sciences

If we look around in the District Pakpattan, we do not find any standardized educational institution that offers religious and worldly education to its people. Baba Fareed Educational and Welfare Trust is going to establish an institution that would not only be a training center but also a combination of worldly and religious system of education. In this institution, spiritual and moral training will be given to the students. With the grace of Allah, this institution would provide not only the education of modern sciences but also the education of Sharia. Moreover, it will take and spread the spiritual mission of Hazrat Baba Fareed Masood Ganj Shakar.
